Where Would Sukuna Fit in the Naruto Universe

While watching “Jujutsu Kaisen,” I wondered what would happen if Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, was a character from the Naruto Universe. What role would he play, and what kind of interactions would he have with the characters of Naruto? We still don’t know the full extent of Sukuna’s capabilities, but with whatever information is out there, let’s explore how Sukuna would fit into the Naruto universe.

Sukuna’s Power and Abilities

Ryomen Sukuna is infamous for his cruel and evil nature; he can kill scores of people, young and old, without batting an eye. It can be said that he is the personification of the word “Pure Evil.” He is arrogant but also very cunning. He manipulates and uses others to do his bidding. Sukuna is capable of causing immense destruction since he possesses numerous powerful techniques:

Immense Physical Strength and Speed: Sukuna possesses immense strength and speed, making him capable of handling most opponents easily.

Cursed Energy Manipulation: He has incredible amounts of cursed energy and can easily control and manipulate them with high precision.

Reverse Cursed Technique: This technique allows Sukuna to easily heal himself and even others from life-threatening injuries. The combination of his vast pool of CT and reverse curse technique makes him a menace in battles.

Domain Expansion (Malevolent Shrine): Domain expansion is Sukuna’s one of the strongest techniques. Sukuna can create a domain where his attacks are guaranteed to hit.

Dismantle and Cleave: Dismantle and Cleave both are very powerful slashing attacks that are not visible to the eye. Cleave can adjust as per the toughness and the amount of cursed energy of the opponent. Meanwhile, Dismantle is a ranged slashing technique that focuses on inanimate objects. Sukuna later improves Dismantle into a World splitting slash, which is so strong that it can even slash through space.

Divine Flame Arrow: Sukuna can use fire to attack his opponents, but these are no ordinary flames. He can control these flames and shape them into an arrow for long-distance attacks.

What Might Be Sukuna’s Role in the Naruto Universe

In the Naruto Universe, Sukuna would be the founder of a new clan, the Ryomen clan. They had a special body constitution that let them store and utilize a new type of energy called cursed energy, which is a kind of negative energy gathered from the dead. And the energy is more potent the more the person has to suffer before death. Sukuna’s origin could be traced back to the Warring States Period when clans around the world were embroiled in war.

Because of the negative effects of cursed energy, all the members of the Ryomen clan had twisted personalities and would cause massacres to increase their powers. Seeing the growing threat of the Ryomen clan, all the major clans, like the Uchiha clan, Uzumaki clan, Senju clan, Hyuuga clan, and others, would work together to annihilate them for once and all. The altercation was disastrous for all the clans, with many losing their lives. They succeeded in annihilating the Ryomen clan, but Ryomen Sukuna was too powerful. His vast reserves of curse energy and regeneration through his reverse curse technique made him invulnerable to many attacks.

His brilliant use of Dismantle and cleave, in addition to supernatural strength and speed, made him a very challenging opponent in close-quarter battles. The cursed energy surrounding him would instill fear and paralyze weaker beings. And with the growing dead bodies, he would gain even more power. Finally, the heads of all the major clans decided to fight him. The combined force of all clans made Sukuna use his trump card, a forbidden jutsu, the Domain Expansion. It created a domain where the owners’ powers were amplified, and the powers of others were significantly reduced. Finally, the Uzumaki clan used their whole power to seal Sukuna, leaving behind twenty indestructible fingers through which Sukuna could be reincarnated.

The story would continue with Sukuna being unsealed by a group of fanatics who revered him. Sukuna is a threat that rivals the Akatsuki or the tailed beasts, he is not just strong but also very scheming. Sukuna has four hands which could let him use multiple jutsu simultaneously, like Kakuzu. After being revived, he would go straight after the remnants of the Uzumaki clan, leading to an epic battle between him, the evil incarnate, and Naruto, the human personification of ‘Good.’ The fight would be quite interesting since Naruto’s Talk-No-Jutsu would not work on a character like Sukuna.

It is certain that if Sukuna is ever to enter the Naruto universe, he will be a force to reckon with. We have seen him destroy a whole city in Jujutsu Kaisen and he can do the same in Naruto Universe as well. He will be an epic villain who can open up a plethora of possibilities and blend the dark allure of “Jujutsu Kaisen” with the vibrant world of “Naruto.”
