The League of Legends series Arcane is ready to return to Netflix for a final season. Its latest teaser is packed with breathtaking visuals, an incredible soundtrack, and hints of what’s to come. Arcane Season 2 is going to bring back the conflicted relationship between Jinx and Vi amid rising political tensions between Piltover and its neighbor Zaun.

Although the teaser is just over two minutes, it provides several glimpses of the upcoming season. To tell you in short, Arcane S2 is duly going to compensate for fans’ patience by being everything promised and more. So, without further ado, let’s check out major points that one can expect from Netflix Arcane Season 2.

5 Possible Highlights of Netflix Arcane Season 2

1. Jinx’s Rise in Zaun

Jinx becomes a symbol in season 2, what will happen in Zaun vs Piltover?

Following the launch of a giant rocket at the Piltover Council in the finale of Season 1, Jinx has become the face of civil war. Her rising fame is evident in the teaser, which shows Zaun’s citizens expressing their support for her with similarly dyed blue hair.

Another key element of her new status is captured with the return of Sevika in the new season. Despite their ill-fated connections after Jinx murdered Silco, Sevika crowns her as the symbol, with the opportunity to rally the undercity together.

In another shot, Vi is shown looking up at a mural of her sister, in which she is accompanied by her deceased stepfather, Vander. He was a bartender with a good reputation among Zaun’s citizens; hence, Jinx’s association with him can further encourage people to support her.

2. Vi’s Dilemma in the Civil War

While Jinx is becoming the face of Zaun, Vi is torn between the choices. The current progress of the storyline confirms that she is going to accompany her girlfriend, Caitlyn, in the Piltover’s armed forces. However, this decision is going to challenge her emotions and morality, especially when they enforce martial law in her hometown.

The trailer further hints towards these emotional dilemmas by showing Vi walking around Zaun and in a fighting pit, wearing a goth-inspired outfit as opposed to her uniform. This suggests that she is going to struggle in picking sides, possibly after witnessing Jinx’s new role in the civil war.

3. Warwick’s Debut in Arcane Season 2

Fans have been expecting to see more LoL champions joining the next season based on the understated hints in Netflix Arcane. The latest teaser confirms these expectations with the appearance of Warwick, the werewolf from LoL’s original 17 champions lineup.

In one of the scenes, his beastly shadow with glowing red eyes charges towards the screen as the teaser claims that “every ending is a new beginning.”. His second and more clear appearance captures him staring down at Vi.

Apart from Warwick, Singed, who is rumored to have helped Viktor as a doctor in the first season, and LeBlanc, a mischievous assassin of the secret organization The Black Rose, are also likely to make an appearance in this final chapter of Arcane. There are also suspicions that she is shapeshifting into Silco; if it’s true, then it can become a major highlight of the season.

4. Viktor and Jayce are Probably Okay

Everyone who has been anywhere near social media since the finale of Arcane Season 1 aired has heard the question, “Are Jayce and Viktor okay?”. While the creators have kept their well-being a mystery, if the teaser is anything to go by (it is), then we can say that they are.

A blink-and-miss sequence in the teaser shows a man picking up a weapon that resembles Jayce’s Mercury Hammer to capture a piece of Hextech embedded into his arm. Any LoL fan will confirm that that is the exact direction the scientist and inventor’s fortune is inching towards, placing a seal of confirmation on the wistful belief that they are okay.

5. The Noxus and Demacia

The last but not the least possible highlight of the Arcane season finale would be Easter eggs about the upcoming series. Two speculations are circulating the web, based on the teaser, namely a series set in Noxus and/or Demacia.

The Arcane Season 2 is already rumored to introduce Noxus characters, including LeBlanc and Swain. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the next series focuses on Noxus invading other regions, such as Ionia.

Another speculation is about Demacia, whose king’s banner is visible in the background of an explosion in Piltover, which can be a nod to a LoL series exploring the land where magic is forbidden. Adding oxygen to the fire, both of these regions have a huge rivalry with each other, and the series could get all the regions on the screen.

These are the five most possible highlights that promise Netflix Arcane Season 2 a massive welcome on the platform. Its first soundtrack featured in the teaser, “Paint The Town Blue,” by the American singer and rapper Ashnikko, has already found a permanent place in fans’ playlists.

More tracks of the Arcane OST is going to release soon allegedly featuring K-pop boy band Stray Kids, and American singer songwriter Royal & the Serpent among others. This promises a mesmerizing soundtrack that can continue the legacy of its preceding season.

The only thing remaining is the series’ official premiere date. Currently, the creators have confirmed that it shall be released sometime in November 2024, but that’s as far as the announcement goes.

Fans are simply hoping that it would be earlier in the month following the finale of the LoL World Championships, as waiting has only become more difficult with the release of the Arcane Season 2 teaser.
